CHURCH COUNCIL MINUTES

  • Will let Sylvia Weisser hold a recital in the church Dec. 13th.
  • Listened to Rev. Allan Schauer tell about Camp of the Cross.
  • Will advertise for someone to remove snow this winter.
  • Set Thanksgiving for Nov. 25th at 7:30 p.m.
  • Heard that Lyle Hanson is replacing the video projector lamp.
  • Heard the Harvest Thanksgiving meal net income was $3,518.
  • Approved Julie Umber to be the chair for Harvest Thanksgiving 2010.
  • Will allow the Alvin Schatz funeral to be held in church at no charge.
  • Thanked Greg Humann for getting the furnaces ready for winter.
  • Is considering options to clean the carpet.
  • Will sent the letter expressing the hope for the ELCA to revote its stance to all congregations in Western ND Synod.
  • Will train acolytes.
  • Wants volunteers to help with worship. “nuts & bolts”.
  • Decided to wait to get information from other Lutheran Synods.
  • Will put the Word Alone Newsletter in our newsletter.

    The council will meet at 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
